This is a collectible museum-quality reproduction print, printed locally with archival inks. You can choose from fine art paper or gallery-wrapped canvas.

Fine art paper prints are certified archival on 100% cotton fiber paper, acid and lignin free. Print sizes include the image plus a 1.5 - 2” white border. Because my images are not standard sizes I reproduce them with a border so they will fit into standard frame sizes. If you are looking for a preferred image size that will fit into an existing frame with matting, please message me - I’m here to help

Canvas prints are printed on cotton canvas, the image wraps around the sides and comes ready to hang on your wall. Each print is hand sprayed with a protective varnish that prevents UV fading.

Please allow 1- 2 weeks for reproducing paper prints and 2-3 weeks time to print and ship canvas prints.

Farmland and the beach - two of my favorite worlds collide at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore! Many have photographed and painted the iconic D.H. Day Farm, but I have been inspired all over again by taking a back road in late October. I found myself on a stretch behind the barns with a great view of the rolling fields, but the dune climb included, rising above the treetops in the distance. A hush lay upon the land compared to the mid-summer rush of busy beachgoers and it was in a moment like this I could almost feel the history of working land talking to me as it lay resting under my boots. The white barns stood like sentinels on fields of auburn and purple with pops of evergreens for texture. It was late in the day and I was losing light so I sketched and photographed before driving home, excited to translate my feelings into paint and savoring yet another memory from Sleeping Bear Dunes.
